The JivaJoy website is designed to educate and support postpartum mothers experiencing Baby Blues while enhancing brand awareness for JivaJoy’s aromatherapy products.
Postpartum depression, particularly Baby Blues Syndrome, affects a significant number of mothers, with approximately 50%–70% of new mothers in Indonesia experiencing its symptoms. JivaJoy aims to address these emotional challenges by offering aromatherapy oils made from sandalwood and basil extracts, providing a natural way to help mothers manage their emotions during the postpartum period. To expand its reach and increase brand awareness, JivaJoy launched a website that serves as both a sales platform and an educational resource.
The JivaJoy website was developed using the Design Thinking process, which includes five main stages:
• Empathize: Understanding the needs of postpartum mothers and identifying their emotional challenges.
• Define: Analyzing the key problems that needed to be addressed through the website.
• Ideate: Brainstorming creative solutions to design the website features.
• Prototype: Creating interactive UI/UX designs, including wireframes and a prototype, to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Testing: Evaluating the website with real users, refining its functionality based on feedback.
This iterative approach helped ensure the website was intuitive, functional, and supportive for its target audience, becoming an indispensable resource for postpartum care.
